On Friday, May 15, 2026, Del Morris went home to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Del was born in Phoenix, AZ on November 25, 1944.

On November 5, 1967, Del married the love of his life, Barb, in Escondido, CA. Upon faith and prayer, a year after they were married, Del and Barb moved to Montana – by way of many an adventure along the way. Eventually settling outside Belgrade, where their two sons, Jeremy and Andy, were born and raised. In 1998, with the Lord’s leadership, Del and Barb moved to the Townsend area, where they made the most of rural life with lots of animals. Del loved God and shared his faith openly.

Del lived life to the fullest and loved every minute of it. He was a man of deep faith, who touched many, many lives. He enjoyed strong black coffee, was a gifted storyteller, and was passionate about a few hobbies, including shooting, horseback riding, and hitting the roads on his motorcycle, with Barb riding shotgun. Del loved his children and grandchildren and cherished every moment when family or friends were gathered together.

Del is very missed by all those who knew and loved him, but we know that he is no longer suffering, rejoicing in the presence of our King – and reunited with his beloved wife, Barb, in Glory.

Del is survived by his sons, Jeremy Morris (Grace), Andy Morris (Angela), sister Cindy Morris Peters (Mike), five grandsons, sister-in-law (Kathy Campbell), and multiple nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife of more than 55 years, Barb Morris, and parents, William Gordon and Caroline Grace Morris.

A Celebration of Life is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Saturday May 30, 2026, from the Mountain Valley Church, 110 E. Street in Townsend, MT. Burial will follow at Deep Creek Cemetery. A reception will follow at Watson's Event Center 290 Litening Barn Road in Townsend.
