Bulldog Tennis Teams Win Duals in Fairfield and Choteau

On April 17th and 18th, the Bulldogs brought their top 10 players to play in multiple duals. The Bulldogs played in Fairfield on April 17th and then stayed the night in Choteau. On April 18th, they played 6 different teams.

The Bulldogs won their first dual against Fairfield, 7 wins to Fairfield’s single win. Jacey Brunette played in the number 1 singles spot and won her match, 4-6, 6-3, and 10 to 6 in the tie breaker. Arabella McDaniel defeated her opponent at 2 singles, 6-2, 6-2. Addy White played the 3 singles position and won her match 6-2, 6-2. Hailey Hildreth played at singles 4 and lost her match 5-7. As for doubles, Violet Collins and Bryleigh Erickson played at 1 doubles and won their match 6-4 and 6-4. Harper Wolfgram and Chloe Flynn played at 2 doubles, and won their match 6-4, 6-4. After that, Nayal Mendoza and Kylee Warburton played two matches together and won each of them 6-4 and 6-2.

The team traveled to Choteau to stay the night with a host family. They did team bonding by watching a movie, talking, and eating popcorn. The next day, Saturday, they dualled St. Patrick’s Academy from Great Falls. They won the dual with 5 wins to St. Pat 's' zero wins. Hailey Hildreth played in the singles one spot and won her match 6-2 and 6-3. Nayla Mendoza won her match in 2 singles, 6-2 and 6-3. Kylee Warburton and Nayla Mendoza played doubles 2 and won their match 6-2 and 6-2.

In a following game, the Bulldogs dualled Choteau. Arabell McDaniel played at 1 singles and won her match easily, 6-2 and 6-2. Jacey Brunette, who played at 2 singles, had a close match. She ended winning the match 6-3, 5-7, and 10-7 in the tie breaker. Violet Collins and Bryleigh Erickson played in the doubles 1 spot and won their match 6-2 and 6-2. After that, Hailey Hildreth and Addy White won their doubles match 6-3 and 6-3. Then, Addy White and Kylee Warburton won their doubles match 6-2 and 6-2.

The next dual was against Simms and only doubles 1 and 2 played. Bryleigh Erickson and Violet Collins played in the doubles 1 spot and won their match 6-2 and 6-3. After that, Jacey Brunette an Arabella McDaniel played and lost their match 2-6 and 3-6.

After that, the Bulldogs played a dual against Conrad. Harper Wolfgram played in the singles 1 spot and won her match 7-5 and 6-3. Bryleigh Erickson played the singles 2 spot and won her match 6-2, 6-3. After that, Chloe Flynn and Violet Collins played a doubles match and won 6-4 and 6-2. Then Kylee Warburton and Hailey Hildreth played doubles and beat their opponent 6-2 and 6-3.

The last dual of the day was a short one against Fort Benton. Arabell McDaniel played a tight match at singles 1 and ended up winning. Arabella won the first set 6-4, lost the second 2-6, and won the tie breaker 12-10. After that, Chloe Flynn and Harper Wolfgram won their doubles match 6-2 and 6-3.
