With great sadness, we mourn the passing of our Debbie. Due to failing health, she passed away on January 31st at Barrett Hospital in Dillon, MT.
She was born in Townsend, MT, on October 5, 1950, the youngest of nine children.
She graduated from high school in Great Falls, MT and attended Western Montana College in Dillon, MT for a short time.
She moved to Glenrock, WY where she gained employment with Pacific Power & Light. Her career spanned 30 plus years. After her retirement she returned to Townsend, MT and lived in her home there for 14 years. She spent the last month of her life in the care of Pioneer Care & Rehab in Dillon, MT.
During her life she enjoyed family, cooking, camping and fishing, following wrestling on TV, word searches and crossword puzzles. She was an enormous Elvis Presley fan and had an impressive collection of memorabilia.
She is survived by two brothers: Edward (Sharon) of Great Falls, MT, David (Linda) of Homer, AK, three sisters: Delores White of Townsend, MT, Lucinda Iverson of Waconia, MN, Kathleen Doege (Dan Engdahl) of Gillette, WY and several nieces and nephews. She was, and always will be, “Aunt Debbie”.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Patrick Finnegan, two brothers, Glenn and Richard and one sister, Anita.
A memorial is planned for a later date.
Her kindness, fairness and honesty will always be remembered by her family and friends close to her. She will be missed.
