Learn how to help save a life during the upcoming Far Out & Waiting workshop in Townsend sponsored by Montana Farmers’ Union (MFU). The workshop is open to the public and is offered free of charge. MFU is offering the workshop in collaboration with the Central Valley Fire Department of Belgrade and Backcountry Medical Supplies. It begins at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, January 26 and will be held at Townsend Schools Community Room in Townsend.
A free dinner is included and will offer a pesticide applicator’s credit. The hands-on workshop offers participants an opportunity to learn critical life-saving skills they can employ while waiting the average 30 minutes it takes for Emergency Medical Services to arrive in our rural area.
