December Dinner Theater Features Murder Mystery Play

MT43 News Staff Reporter

An interactive play, written by script writer LaRinda Spencer, will liven Broadwater Community Theater’s (BCT) fifth annual December Dinner Theater Saturday, December 13, at the Lodge in Townsend. The play, “Mistletoe Mayhem,” led by local actors, will help the audience decide: “Who Killed Santa Claus?”

Audience members will guess who the culprit is. The winner who gives the correct answer will win a prize.

Past years have seen local actors entertain in comedies that keep the audience in stitches. Consider JB Howick in "KMAS, A Crazy Christmas,” who played the tough, but tender sheriff working his shift on Christmas Eve or Bob Saxby and Ruby Taylor in the English play “Dinner for One.” These plays were hilarious for both the audience and the actors.

Spencer has asked individuals willing to act in the play to sign up in advance when they buy their tickets, listed at $25 per person. Tickets may be purchased online at bctmt.org, during the Stroll on December 6 at the BCT Booth, or at the Bird’s Nest. No tickets will be sold at the door. For more information, please call LaRinda at (406)475-4016.
