Lady Bulldogs Honor Their Senior Players

Seven seniors were honored at senior night during the last regular season game, Thursday, October 23rd, when the Ennis Mustangs travelled to Townsend to take on the Bulldogs. Those honored were Aspen Slyker, Kaityln Noyes, Holly Newman, Kenzie Knaub, Emmalin Fischer, Harper Wolfgram and Mishayla Lambott.
The C squad team for the Bulldogs beat the Mustangs 25-23, 25-19, and 15-12. Ella Toney had 4 aces, the most on the team. Avery White followed with 3 aces. McKenna Weaver and Brinley Eggers both had one block. Avery White led the team with 3 kills, and she also led the team in digs with 8. McKenna Weaver had 7 digs. This was the last game for the Bulldogs C squad team, and they finished the year with a record of 10 wins and 2 losses.
Next was the Junior Varsity game. The Bulldogs beat the Mustangs 25-13, 25-19, and 16-14. Savannah Paulsen had 2 aces to lead the team. Sophia Lamb and Ava Tiffany led the team in blocks with 2 each. Sophia Lamb had 5 kills, followed by Tevyn Newman, who had 4 kills. Tevyn Newman had 8 assists, and Grace Ragen got 7. Louie Parr led the Bulldogs in digs with 9. This was the last game of the season for the Junior Varsity team, and they finished the year off with a record of 10 wins and 2 losses.
The Varsity team beat the Mustangs in three sets, securing the number one seed in the district tournament. The scores were: 25-15, 25-20, and 25-16. Jazel Ragen and Kaitlyn Noyes had 2 aces each to lead the team. Harper Wolfgram led the team in blocks with 2. Kaitlyn Noyes had 10 kills to lead the Bulldogs, and Bryleigh Erickson and Holly Newman had 6 each. Holly Newman had 17 assists, and Bryleigh Erickson had 11. Aspen Slyker had 12 digs.
The Lady Bulldogs ended the regular season with a 9-0 record.
The next game for the Lady Bulldogs Volleyball team with be Thursday, October 30th at 1:30 pm. The game will be in Manhattan against either Three Forks or Whitehall. Come to Manhattan to cheer on the Bulldogs as they chase a district championship!
