She represented our program in a great way. She shot a 94 and a 93 to place 9th in the whole state. What a great week of golf she had and a bright future in this sport. Great job, Jazz!! They became divisional champions and qualified six girls for the state tournament on a team effort. No individual deserves accolades. They all deserve it because they all bonded together rooted for one another and were nothing but positive and encouraging. For three tough days in a cold, rainy, divisional tournament, attitude determines everything, and these girls have the right one. She placed first in both her events, running a 2:25.36 in the 800 and 5:35.73 in the mile.
