The 2025 Broadwater County Fair and Rodeo is scheduled for August 6th-10th, 2025! We are so excited to invite everyone out to share your “Blue Jeans and Country Dreams” with us.

Now is the time to start thinking about and working on your Open Class entries for this year. Do you happen to grow gorgeous flowers? Do you like to write short stories? Have a beautiful house plant? Do you have a secret family recipe for bread, cookies or jelly? Do you dabble with oil paints? Take stunning photographs? Raise your own livestock? Did you end up taking up a hobby of embroidery, knitting or quilting?

Then guess what! You are well on your way to making an entry into the Broadwater County Fair! The Open Class Departments are: Home Arts, Photography & Literature, Fine Arts Painting & Artwork, Home Crafts, Culinary Arts, Horticulture, Agronomy and Livestock. And each of these departments have many different classes to enter your projects! The opportunities are endless!

Copies of the Fair Book will be out by May 9th. These will be available in the Fair Office or at a few businesses around town. We are gearing up for a great event and hope to see you all there.

We are in the midst of scheduling our entertainment and vendors for this year’s fair. The Fair Board works hard to put on this event. This is a large event that is planned and organized by a group of volunteers and one part time employee. If anyone is interested in helping in some way or another, please reach out to the Fair Manager.

We hope everyone comes out to the fairgrounds to enjoy themselves this year. We are providing some free family entertainment with local music under the tent, stick horse rodeo, pie eating contest, bouncy houses and more! We will also be having a jewelry party hosted by J Rock Jewelry and a Paint Party with Julie M Farris. Details on how to pre-register for these classes will be shared later.

New this year, we are bringing in a mobile escape room that will be set up in our Commercial Vendor building! The escape room games will run on the hour and can fit 10 people at a time. Kids 12 and under are free (with an adult) and 13+ is $5. There will be booking information to reserve your game time coming later this summer as well!
